Dogs Playing Poker refers collectively to an 1894 painting, a series of sixteen oil paintings, and a 1910 painting by Cassius Marcellus Coolidge. Brown & Bigelow commissioned the 16 painting series in 1903 to advertise cigars. All eighteen paintings in the series feature personified dogs, but the eleven in which dogs are seated around a card table have become well known in the United States as examples of Kitsch art in home decoration. Made from zinc plated steel, these cases are strong and durable yet still slim to fit in your pocket. Measuring at 2.75 inches tall, 1.125 inches wide and 0.75 inches deep, the case is the perfect size for the standard J6 BIC lighter - which are 3.2 inches tall.

Inside the metal sleeve are two metal ridges near the base to hold the lighter in. The open bottom allows you to easily push the lighter out to trade for a new one or refill it. The top and bottom each have a metal ring to protect the artwork on the outside as well as a ridge running the full height of the lighter on one side.

Use our design studio to design your own lighter case or design your own with your own artwork. Then we will print the design on a high quality canvas textured material and apply it to your case. By using the canvas textured material we help improve your grip to make for easy lighting. Lighter not included.
