He is credited with painting one of the first recognized purely abstract works Born in Moscow, Kandinsky spent his childhood in Odessa, where he graduated at Grekov Odessa Art school. Composition 8 is my favorite Kandinsky; His goal was to paint what music sounds like.

As the name implies, it is the eighth in a series of paintings, begun in 1911, in which the artist expresses what he is trying to achieve. Kandinsky wanted to explore the medium of painting rather than be concerned with subject matter. (source: Totally History)

On the back side of the wallet is a zippered coin pouch to hold your change. All of this is wrapped with beautiful black genuine leather with high quality sewn seams all the way around.
